Toys increases brain ability of thinking of the children

Toys give pleasure and amusement to
children. At the same time most toys help
children to learn. Skipping ropes, balls
and scooters help to develop balance
and agility. Tops, beads, building blocks
and cut-outs teach finger and hand co-
ordination.

Many kinds of toys teach children about
adult jobs and they also explain how
things work. Such toys include cars and
boats, train sets, miniature kitchen
equipment and chemistry sets. Others,
such as dolls and puppets, stimulate a
child's imagination. Children can invent
stories about toys of this kind, or perform
little plays with them. Other kinds of toys
are based on competition, and include
droughts and many other board games.
Educational toys are designed to teach
children reading, arithmetic, or some
other school subject, while those for
young children teach them about shapes
and colors.

Toys do not have to be expensive to be
enjoyable. Many children become deeply
attached to an old, worn out, stuffed
animal that they have had for years. And
others can turn almost any discarded
object into an interesting plaything. A
piece of stick, for example, can become a
sword, a bat, a conductor's baton or a
fishing rod.

Museums have toys that were
thousands of years ago in ancient Egypt,
Greece and Rome. They include many
kinds of toys we still use today, such
balls, hoops, animal figures, model ships,
dolls and carts.

During the Middle Ages, the making of
toys was a craft. It was not until the 1800's
that metal stamping and other processes
made mass-produced toys possible. Many
new kinds of toys were then produced
Some were made with complicated clock
work mechanisms. Dolls were made with
skillfully Modelled faces of wax or Por-
celain, and real hair on their heads; they
had elaborate wardrobes with silk and
velvet dresses trimmed with real lace
and fur. Some of these toys are now
valuable and are collected by adults.

Modern toys are mostly made in large
factories. Japan, Germany, Britain and
Italy exports many toys to other countries
Modern toys reflect the modern world
and include toy robots, computers a

spacecraft.
